A mystery show currently hangs in the Boatworks. Behind these and a few dozen other canvases are the entries in the Art in the Round competition and exhibition. The more than 30 works will be turned around Saturday evening just in time for the reception, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. During that time, those in attendance will cast votes for their favorite paintings. At the end of the reception all the votes will be tabulated, and the top 12 will have their paintings turned into tabletops for our cafe tables. Those winners will be announced here on the BAC blog.

What a great shot--it captures all the drama and mystery of the show.
Looks like a lot of people got caught up in the idea of a round painting destined to be a tabletop. Some professed non-acrylic painters even surprised themselves with their results.
