June Critique Group

The Fine Art Critique Group met this evening. Several artists showed up and brought recent work. For some, it was work that was still in progress, and they received advice on how to resolve their pieces. Others brought finished work. The discussion wasn't limited to just the pieces brought by the participants, but also matters of design and art materials, among other things. Everyone seemed to feel that they got something from the discussion. The group meets the 3rd Thursday of every month, and all artists are invited.

Our special guest tonight was John "Hutch" Hutchinson, who gave us a demonstration of Pro/DESKTOP, a 3D drawing/design program that can be used by engineers and artists for a variety of applications. Those who were in attendance were very impressed with the possiblities, and took information to help them get started.
